Challenge
With a promising molecule for osteoporosis prevention, the research team needed support to decide in which clinical context to continue development. The challenge was to analyse different forms of secondary osteoporosis, prioritise the indication with the highest strategic value and help define a realistic, market-aligned development plan.
Solution
The consultancy carried out an in-depth analysis of the osteoporosis state of the art, including patient segmentation, review of existing treatments, clinical trial analysis and stakeholder interviews. Based on this work, the most attractive indications were prioritised, a positioning strategy was defined and key milestones were established to advance development and validation.
Result
The project enabled the identification of a priority indication with strong clinical and strategic potential, clarifying the therapy’s fit within the current landscape. As a result, the team now has a clear development roadmap, a solid narrative for engagement with industry and investors, and a realistic foundation to move toward clinical validation.
