Challenge
A research group developed a new therapy for a rare disease. A non-regulatory pre-clinical was conducted, and the knowledge was protected.
To determine the best way to continue the development of the project, the business model, the financing strategy, the necessary equipment, and the right technology partners, as well as to analyse and search for financial partners, had to be determined.
Solution
We developed the business model and the strategy to follow, defined the activities to be carried out, the market potential, and the partners needed to create the product, and mentored and provided management support to the entrepreneurial team.
We presented the project to investors. We supported the subsequent negotiation, managing to close a round of financing that guaranteed the completion of the pre-clinical phase.
