Develop and implement the strategy for a network of academic groups active in artificial intelligence
Challenge
A network of academic groups related to artificial intelligence has been created. Competitive calls for projects and the associated budget must be structured.
The type of projects to be funded, the bases, the evaluation criteria, the launching of the calls, the selection of the best proposals and the implementation of the studies must be activated.
Solution
In direct collaboration with the network managers, the challenges to be covered by the projects to be funded were defined. The typology and scope of the projects to be awarded have been detailed.
All the documentation and regulations have been developed to ensure a transparent, agile and efficient process for collecting applications and awarding budgets.
The different applications have been evaluated, and through establishing a neutral committee, the projects to be subsidised have been defined.
Result
- Robust and reusable documentation is available to manage the network’s calls for proposals, adapted to the needs of artificial intelligence management.
- Projects are being developed and are benefiting from the network’s subsidy.
