ODISEA: Improving Heart Attack Response Coordination
Challenge
ODISEA (myOcarDial Infarction SafEtytrAnsfer) is an application designed to enhance and streamline the transfer and management of heart attack patients from first medical contact to the life-saving procedures. The challenge was to define the business model for the solution, determine the investment volume and financing strategy, identify future buyers, and plan the implementation and growth strategy. Additionally, it involved supporting institutions and researchers in managing the transfer contract and creating the spin-off.
Solution
The market of telehealth applications was analyzed to identify potential competitors, and various business models and growth strategies used by them were studied. Subsequently, a growth strategy suitable for the spin off was formulated, and the company’s structure, including the key roles of the team, was defined. Pricing strategy was established and a growth strategy was developed based on the financial plan.
Result
The conducted studies and financial predictions allowed to define the company’s value for the pre-seed financing round. The business model and business plan were defined for the creation of a spin-off company, demonstrating the feasibility of implementing the proposed technology.
