Regenerative architecture: thermal insulation and nature in one system
A construction solution that merges energy efficiency and greenery to transform urban environments.
Challenge
Energy retrofitting of facades in Spain still faces barriers such as high costs, technical complexity, and a lack of integrated solutions. The challenge emerged with the introduction of a hybrid concept combining thermal performance and vegetation: defining a go-to-market strategy to position it between the insulation and green architecture sectors, in the absence of direct references or commercial precedents.
Solution
Arvor developed a commercialization strategy built around a dual value proposition —energy efficiency and urban renaturation—, identifying key sectors and outlining two viable business models: spin-off or licensing. A scalable roadmap was created, adapted to the limits of legal protection, and funding pathways were analyzed based on the selected model.
Result
The strategic analysis provided a solid foundation for decision-making. A viable market approach has been defined, key risks mapped, and development scenarios anticipated. The combination of energy efficiency and green facade has been validated as a competitive differentiator, and the path to technology transfer is now outlined.
